Welcome to the latest online home for all things Basford. In Zeb's initial email about this blog he noted that it should be a good place for all of us to compose longer thoughts about the family- past, present and future.
First thing's first- we've got to make this blog look like Basford Road. I will be happy to contribute my graphic/web design skills to get this accomplished, but what I need from you are your favorite photos of the land, buildings and people that make up Basford Road.
- Please email any digital photos that you would like to see on the blog to me: eric.basford@gmail.com
- If you've got special photos printed, let's try to coordinate some way for you to scan them in. Can anyone offer up a scanner?
Thanks and love,
Eric

Great, thanks. No scanner but I think Mom does.
The background that Karen's using on the Basford Rd msg brd might be one of the things you're looking for, which is housed at the photobucket acct I mentioned. You might find other useful stuff in there too (except for our remodeling project pix)
Also, a links column to the side should include a link to the family msg brd and individual blogs
Another idea, depending on whether people like it, would be a memorium sidebar
Thanks Zeb and Eric,
I brought most of the old family photo albums to Saco with me last night, and have been scanning all day! I have been focusing on photos with your Grandfather in them, but have literally 100's to do eventually.
I don't have a particularly good photo editing program, and very little experience enhancing photos. However, I'm scanning them at 300 DPI so the quality should be good.
We will be seeing everyone on Friday evening, and I plan to bring all the scanned photos with me. Let me know if there's anything I can do before that. I'll be here at the apartment scanning most of the evening.
Thanks again and love,
Dad/Bruce
Uncle Bruce, the slide show was awesome! It helped so much in making it through the days. Thank you for doing it
Love Karen
